About the event

Join James for any or all of these study afternoons, each focussing on different theories from psychology and their relevance to yoga. This session focusses on psychodynamic theory.

Each workshop begins with a talk/lecture, followed by discussion, and then a yoga class which puts the themes into practice.

Weaving together his yoga teaching experience and knowledge as a counselling psychology doctoral student, James will bring to life some of the subjects that help us understand what it is to be a human being!

This series is suitable for yoga practitioners, psychology students, yoga teachers and anyone with a general curiosity in the subjects of the body and mind.

Tickets start from £10 per workshop for concessions and if you are facing financial barriers to taking part, please get in touch.

Sessions take place from 3-5pm in the beautiful and warm Gibson Hall at Downing Place URC in central Cambridge.

Bring a yoga mat, pen and paper, and see you there!
