Lots is said about the benefits of yoga for mental health and wellbeing. But looking at the huge array of contemporary yoga practices, it's easy to be overwhelmed with choice.
Yoga being "good for you" isn't a given. Making sense of what "self-care" means for each of us - and how yoga can help support our mental health - requires us to take an intelligent look at both theory and practice.
This workshop with James will help you to reimagine the strength elements of yoga practice. Often people starting yoga are surprised at how physically strong it can be, and it is! But there are also other ways in which yoga can strengthen your body and mind.
After some discussion and self-reflection on your multi-dimensional strength, James will lead you through a dynamic physical practice aimed at developing your vigour and joy for moving in the present moment.
