You are invited to join James and Cambridge Yoga Project's first Summer Retreat from Wednesday 7 - Sunday 11th August 2024 in the heart of Devon!

The focus of this week wil be to take a step out of our usual routines and make space for discovering new ways to use yoga to foster creativity, compassion and community. Taking place in the beautiful Eden Rise retreat centre in South Devon, we will have a chance to connect with the natural landscape including woodland, a sauna, and shared time around the fire.

We will have two main yoga practices per day with a range of creative activities, shorter practices and time for discussion, fun, free time, and quiet. The full itinerary and brochure will be available soon but this will be a pressure-free environment and a shared experience. With the theme of community being so important, there will be opportunity to cook, create and share together, rather than having everything provided or imposed already!

Accommodation is in single beds in the barn, with partitions for privacy, and the aim is to make this as affordable as possible for people. This is really important to me.

Prices are £550 (standard); £450 (concession). There is a supporter price option too, which makes a big difference if you can afford to help out, and you can pay in installments to suit you, including the option for a £150 deposit or paying up-front. This is all inclusive, including all food (vegetarian - get in touch with dietary requirements), 4 nights of accommodation, all teaching, creative materials, and more.

The remaining consideration is travel, with the train to Totnes from where it's a short bus or taxi to the venue, which I can co-ordinate. I will be travelling in the morning so you're welcome to get the train with me - from Cambridge an open return ticket is c.£85 with a railcard, £125 without. We will start on Wednesday by 6pm, and on the Sunday departing after lunch.
